Brightness, contrast, and color

1) When video is shown directly from the video source (the video control bar not being visible) the TV card is used and you may configure brightness, contrast, and color using Setup/video/standard video device.

2) When a video clip is shown from the hard drive (the video control bar being visible) Windows' Media Player technology is used and you may configure brightness, contrast, and color via the Screen Properties menu, which is invoked right clicking the desktop (or you may use the buttons on your monitor). You may also change these properties by recompressing the clip with VirtualDub's HSV adjust filter.
