Test recording

1) Choose Setup/video configuration/video cache

2) If you haven't already done so, select the directory for your video cache files

3) Select a video codec, preferably PicVideo MJPEG V2 or Morgan MJPEG. If you don't have them, you can download trial versions from the internet.

4) Click the Standard audio device tab.

5) Select an audio compression codec, preferably CCITT A-Law or PCM. Click Okay.

6) Click the camera icon on the icon bar. The video control bar will pop up somewhere on the screen (first time just above the status bar)

7) Make sure a video tape is running with a clear video and audio signal. Click the movie clip icon on the video control bar. The Video Clip Manager will pop up. In the "Name" field write "Test". click "Create new". The recording window will pop up, starting the recording.

8) Wait for a few minutes, then press "Stop" in the recording window.
