Pac and rac files

Import and export .pac or .rac files in PU2020 format

For some obscure reason Screen Electronics have made two different file formats with the same name: PAC - thereby creating a never-ceasing source of confusion. The same goes for the RAC format.

If you want to save and load your pac or rac files as PU2020 files, tick this box. If you want to save and load your pac or rac files as PU2000 files, untick it.

Force en-dash to load as hyphen

If you want to be sure your PU2020 file only uses hyphen dashes, tick this box.

Push italics lines x characters left or right when saving (PU2020 files only)

Italicized lines are indented in the edit window:

If you choose to push the bottom line 1 character left, you will not see any visible change in the edit window, but all such lines will look unindented on air (if the broadcast equipment is configured accordingly):

Left: Negative values

Right: Positive values
