Cut, copy and paste

You can cut, copy, and paste a whole title or a range of titles with or without time code. You can copy individual words and phrases as well after marking them with shift+arrow.

A whole title cut/copied from the context window will always be pasted as new titles - with or without time code. Individual words will be copied into the current title, but if they exceed the length of one subtitle line, they will be pasted as a new subtitle.

Text from clipboard:

1) If the amount of text is equal to or less than one subtitle line it will be pasted into the current title.

2) If the amount of text is equal to two subtitle lines it will be pasted as a new title.

3) If the amount of text exceeds two lines it will be split up into several new titles. You can import HUGE amounts of text as subtitles this way.

Ctrl+X = Cut

Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert = Copy

Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert = Paste
